Founded in 2009 by Kevin Shelley and Kurt Thomas, Thomas Shelley Productions is a video production company based in Longview, Texas, serving the Longview and Tyler communities. Our specialty is wedding videography - our productions tell the story of your romance in a way you can share with friends and family for a lifetime.
While weddings are our specialty, we produce videos for other events and for commercial purposes as well. The quality of our productions, coupled with our commitment to outstanding customer service, makes Thomas Shelley Productions the ideal production company.
Kevin Shelley has a degree in engineering from the University of Missouri. However, he found over the years that his passion was not engineering but rather videography. Kevin also works as the technical director at Crossroads Community Church, overseeing sound, video, and projection. He frequently amazes people with his technical knowledge of producing videos. His favorite part of videography is editing music videos. Also, he enjoys tennis and dessert (particularly cheesecake) and has been known to moonlight as sportscaster Ise McGee.
Kurt Thomas is a recent graduate of LeTourneau University. After spending two years working for an engineering company, he was ready for a change. Kurt has had a video camera in his hands since his teenage years, so he decided, along with Kevin, to start a career in videography. He is a master at finding great video shots, and he is known for his focus on set. Additionally, he is rather taken with the beauty of nature, and he is easily distracted (off-set, of course!) by pretty flowers, sunsets, and mountain biking.
Kristin Shelley is currently pursuing a degree in marketing at Texas A&M University. She has several years of experience in sales and customer service, and she is a founding member of the student marketing team for the Brazos Valley Symphony, having played an integral part in planning the marketing campaign for the 2009-2010 season. In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping for mile-high stiletto heels, and expanding her repertoire on the piano, violin, and Guitar Hero.
